    <description>&lt;P&gt;Trying to upgrade from McAfee to norton virus protect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When selecting "manage" BT Virus I get a "server error" ... can you point me to what I need to do to fix this please ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;same for Norton password manager&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This error message was mostly caused by the &lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/security/usernames-and-passwords/more-help-with-account-roles/what-s-the-difference-between-an-account-holder-and-an-account-m" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Primary BTID&lt;/A&gt; not been an email address. If your login name for the Primary BTID is not an email address then follow &lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/security/usernames-and-passwords/more-help-with-account-roles/changing-your-bt-id-username-and-security-details1#:~:text=.....-,You%20can%20change%20your%20BT%20ID%20username%20and%20security%20details,that%20you%20have%20access%20to." target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;These Steps&lt;/A&gt; to change it and it will work ok then.&lt;/P&gt;
