May be worth checking that you’re on the latest version - 22.8.10. Although saying that, things sometimes take an age to sort themselves out. Usually the desktop app works fine for me. But it failed a month or so ago. And this update cured it. Hope it does the same for you.

Is BTCloud reliable enough to bother with it? Genuine question.

On my previous desktop I gave up with BTCloud as it only ever stated "trying to contact servers" and went no further. This was for many months.

I've just migrated onto a new desktop, and installed BTCloud for another attempt. Now, each time it starts following a reboot, it looks like it's doing fine for about a dozen or so files but then totally gives up the ghost. It still says it's "syncing" but doesn't do anything. At the present rate of progress I shall be pushing up the proverbial daisies long before it completes backing up the data I've asked it to.

I'm thinking I'll just forget all about BT cloud (and any of BT's other products for that matter) and go to an alternative provider that I may be able to trust.
