Ducting

we are in the process of building some new build properties and have a question about the ducting that we have installed for bt fiber.

can this ducting be used by us to run cat6 cabling for a gate entry system? As well as the fiber line?

Only Openreach would know the answer. Check out this guide from them on how to install underground duct.

If OR supplied the duct on a ‘proper’ newsites basis , so contracts signed , site has an Openreach new-sites rep /field based coordinator etc, then probably no , although you install it , it’s for OR use , however if you were a Alt Net and had entered into a PIA arrangement you could ‘share’ the duct .
