If you want an idea then ditch Norton on both macs. Ventura has AV in it already and doesn't need another. Also another AV installed can cause conflicts.

I've got two Mac's up to about 6 months ago both were OK running Norton then got a message on one Mac that update didn't work so tried reinstalling Norton again.

All seemed to go OK with install but when the machine restarted to finish off the install it just kept going round in circles starting with the opening page for downloading Norton.

I've tried uninstalling all traces of Norton and reinstalling but same thing happens every time.

The other machine is working perfectly with Norton and both machines are running same version of Ventura 13.2.1.

Any ideas as I've exhausted everything shown on the Community pages.

Done,

Thanks for that.

To be honest I've been running with Norton on on machine now ever since Ventura was released without ay problems showing up.

I may well now delete it from the other machine.

Thanks for your advice, fed up with having a message telling me to complete the Norton installation every day. I will ditch it on my new Mac and rely on the Ventura AV.
