Does activating Norton virus protection create an auto renewal charge?

HI,

I currently have Kaspersky free antivirus protection and also have Malwarebytes on my PC, but just activated the Norton virus protection on my BT account (haven't downloaded as yet)

I was thinking of maybe replacing Kaspersky with Norton.

Does anyone know if the process of activating Norton somehow creates an auto-renew charge?

I did notice that this auto-renew was created for my free six months X-box game pass when I signed up, so had to switch it off.

Norton is free for as long as you are a BT Broadband customer.
