Xbox Gamepass Ultimate - 6 month code

I signed up for a 2 year broadband deal and was given Xbox gamepass ultimate for 6 months as part of that deal. I activated it today and according to Microsoft I only have a 1 month subscription. BT mentions this on their activation page and says that they know you have a 6 mth or 12 mth pass, but how do I go about getting the full 6 months that I was told I would get?

this had been posted often on the forum you get 1 month and it will auto renew for another month until your 6 months is complete

Hi @tasmanuk welcome to the community. You don't need to do anything that is the normal way for the gamepass offer to work. BT will automatically renew the gamepass each month for the 6 month offer period.
