Xbox Game Pass EE/BT locked account

I wanted to bring this issue to the BT becasue it starting to be very common. Im looking for advice.

I purchased Xbox game pass key form some unoffical website and it enrolled me to some scam with BT/EE service and now I cannot manage my subscriptions at all.

When I click manage it redirects me to https://ee.co.uk/ to log in to account and manage subscriptions which I cannot do that. Becasue I never had any account there which means I cannot even cancel it.

What could I do to disconnect my xbox account from this unknown BT account that manages my subscriptions ?

I already contacted Microsoft and I have a ticket numbet that they created so I can pass it to BT so maybe someone from BT team can contact Microsoft so my account can be unlinked form this unknown BT account ?

have you tried going back to the unofficial website you purchased the xbox key from for help? this does not really have anything to do with BT Retail and the fact you are being redirected to EE suggests maybe the account should be with EE not BT. have you tried the EE community forum for assistance https://community.ee.co.uk/

I tried that but I’m getting bounced back to BT/EE.

I get a redirect to EE site that’s true but when I click login it wants me to use BT account which I don’t have

suppose a problem because you used an unofficial website to purchase key. have you tried going back to where you purchased key for assistance

Yea, this is correct. First time and never again. A big lesson for the future but Microsoft created a ticket for it so they said when I get in touch with BT support team they can identify the account that I’m connected to and disable it because they cannot do it themselves.

That’s why I’m seeking for assistance in that matter what can be done and if it’s possible
