@members

I probably ought to have asked this a long time ago when the issue first highlighted itself but why won’t my iPhone work with ‘out and about’ Wi-Fi now it’s rebranded EE and no longer BT? My phone will tell me it’s connected to EE Wi-Fi but I’m actively prevented from accessing the Internet and have to turn off my Wi-Fi and use data. I’m sure it must be something with deleting/adding an app or changing settings

Thank you

To access the hotshots when out and about you will first need to connect to the hot-spot then via your web browser log in as a BT customer using the details for your online account and that should work just fine

thank you, I will certainly make the effort to try this and see what happens when I’m out. It seems odd though as I don’t ever remember having to jump through hoops for BT and my phone would simply connect automatically without having to open browsers, input information/passwords etc
