Public wifi

Hi all,

New to BT/EE I was looking around my account and turned off public WiFi by mistake, I turned back on but my Hub doesn’t seem to be broadcasting it now. I’ve rebooted etc to no avail

if you have turned it back on it can take a few days for system to be updated other way is a factory reset of the hub using the recessed button on back and hold until hub lights flash

Done the factory reset to no avail and customer support don’t know what I’m on about 😆

Last time I had a play with it, it took more like a month to update rather than a few days.

While I can understand it in places like pubs etc., it’s an outdated concept on home Wi-Fi and should be removed in my opinion. Most people on here moan about not being able to turn it off. Why do you want your hub acting as a public hotspot?
