I don't use Cyber Protect but I suspect that it needs your email address to activate it because your wife's email address will not have a BT Broadband account or Cyber Protect Licences so it can not be used.

You as the BT Broadband account holder have the licences for Cyber Protect allocated to you. The licences are registered to your broadband account and the email address that you use for the BT account.

So that BT know how many of your allocated licences have been used from your broadband account you will have to use your registered email address and not the person's email address that is using the device that you are installing it on.

Been trying to install Cyberprotect on my wifes ipad, she has an email account off my main BT account.. but when she logs in to Cyberprotect to authorise it says no subsciption found.. only way I can get it to install is by using my main account email and password..

It was installed by sending link by email to add another device from the dashboard, and then downloaded app from the appstore...

Any ideas ?
