Hi All,

Firstly, apologies if this has been covered multiple times, but....

I have an issue where broadband drops around 8 times a day. The hub light stays on orange (negotiating) until I hard reset the box. Occasionally I have to do this multiple times in order to get an eventual blue light.

The hub has been replaced three times (current one is running latest firmware)

Wifi is perfectly OK.

I've checked and replaced the DSL filter twice and I know that this is ok.

The line itself has been checked, and other than the occasional outage (I live in a semi rural location), it's stable.

Only other thing to report is that whenever the phone rings, is answered, or dialled out on, DSL goes down.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a high resistance fault and need to report phone fault to 151

Have you tried connecting filter to test socket and the see if router still disconnects when receiving a phone call. If it still disconnects then phone 151 but if ok then problem with your internal wiring maybe an extension
