Openreach hold the wrong data about my house - everyone on my street except me will get an upgrade

I live in Scotland on a street of 10 houses. I do not have a supplier as the best offer we can get from BT is 3mpbs.
The R100 programme is upgrading every house on my street to gigabit FTH connection... except mine, because Openreach tells them I have FTTC already.
I don't. Everyone is connected to the exchange at the bottom of the street through overhead copper cables. I can see them. I have tried contacting Openreach who say only a supplier can talk to them, but I don't have a supplier so no supplier will talk to them. R100 say they just read the data and can't change it. Long shot about if anyone has any advice for this byzantine bureaucratic nightmare,

so you can order broadband from BT or any other ISP using openreach network you would need to place an order with and ISP and then get that ISP send ORDI to openreach to get your records updated - but only the ISP you place order with can do that.

can you enter phone number or your address and post results including all the notes

We aren't connected to the phoneline - as I said we have mobile broadband because the speed was so bad. So the only thing I can do is buy internet I wouldn't use on top of the mobile broadband I pay for already?

Also I just went on BT.com to get a quote and their website says for my address "All plans shown use copper technology ".

How is it that BT has different knowledge (correct knowledge) compared to everyone else?

that result from using address shows you can get FTTC - fibre to cabinet and copper to hope and a speed about 54mb. you should be able to order broadband Fibre 1 with max speed 55mb

Yeah but it's wrong - the data from Openreach is wrong. There is no cabinet on the street. Only the exchange. We all connect there from the same place.

you omitted the top line which showed the cabinet number. it will be more than a street away from you based on expected speeds

The street is over a mile long with no cabinets on it or neighbouring streets

ok but what cabinet number did it say when you entered your address in link I posted? try a neighbours address and see if they are on same cabinet

Also you say I should order Fibre. I cannot order Fibre. BT will only let me order copper based plans

Everyone on my street connects to the exchange which I can see from my window. I have tried all ten addresses ours is the only one with this issue.

the speed I quoted and as I posted is fibre to the street cabinet and copper from there to home. you cannot get fibre from the exchange so must be connected to cabinet for FTTC. so try again and see if they are also connected to same cabinet as you

How many times THERE IS NO STREET CABINET.

Every other home's data says it connects to Exchange only. I cannot order fibre broadband because BT knows it cannot supply it because there is no infrastructure for it.

Why can you not understand that the information on site for my address is wrong? I can see the exchange I can see the copper wires. There is no cabinet. I live in the middle of nowhere in scotland. If I try and buy from BT they quote 3mbps because that is all you can get from a copper wire to an exchange I walk past twice a day.

I am sorry but this is pointless so the only way you are going to make any progress is to select an ISP and place an order and if something wrong with your address and openreach database then get your selected ISP to raise an ORDI with openreach to get it corrected

I can’t really see the problem , you can order FTTC , that’s unlikely may be incorrect data , but no ISP has different data so an order should be possible .
If , as you state , FTTC isn’t available then that’s not your problem , the tech turns up , states you are what’s called an E/O line ( exchange only , no cabinet ) and the order is cancelled or you are offered SoTAP (ADSL) , if the speed from that is unacceptable you refuse and you are no worse off that you are now

If "no ISP has different data" Why can I order fibre from Sky but only SoTAP from BT?

then place order with SKY for fibre broadband and see if they deliver or cancel

If Sky FTTC is available, it’s because the BTW checker site shows it as available, if BT are not also offering FTTC yet , it could be the BTW backhaul required to get from Openreach FTTC equipment into the ‘BT’ network isn’t available , BT use BTW backhaul, perhaps Skys backhaul is available, Sky don’t they use BTW they use their own backhaul at the headend exchange.
As stated , order Sky , if you are correct and FTTC isn’t available ( even though Openreach and BT Wholesale say it is ) the order will not progress very far , if FTTC gets installed, you were wrong and BT simply haven’t yet got the capacity ( backhaul ) to connect Openreach’s FTTC equipment at the head end exchange, in effect OR are ready , before BT / BTW were ready , Sky were ready with their backhaul, hence the availability shown for them
