How do I find out how much data I'm using each month?

I'm considering moving to 5G Mobile broadband where BT/EE have told me that some sims have a fair usage limit (around 600G) where the speed consequently gets reduced. So I just want to know if this is likely to impact me.

I appreciate I am on unlimited data but I would expect my actual usage to be recorded nonetheless. I see it as similar to having unlimited minutes yet I still have access to how many minutes I've used.

Grateful for any pointers as to how to get this please. I tried calling BT but the IVR system invariably routes you to Sales who can't help.

It's in the hub. You can jot it down each day and then add it up over a month etc. (I can't remember exactly where it is, as I don't use the hub anymore).

What you do need to be careful of is if you have IP TV, (as opposed to it coming through an aerial). That really does push your usage up.

Thank you - it would be great to know how to access it in the hub.

That said, I am looking for a picture of historic month on month - last 12 months would be sufficient. Current contract expires in 2 weeks, so capturing daily use now will be of limited use I feel as our home's pattern of use is not always constant - e.g. due to varying house occupancy, holidays, home working etc.

Just had a quick look. On the Smart Hub 2 it's Advanced settings > Broadband. It resets each time the hub resets, so you need to record for a month or two.

On the old BT TV box my usage was about 700GB a month, if memory serves. I use a Sky (IP) TV puck now and the usage is up to 1TB per month.
