It is absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with BT. The master socket belongs to Openreach.

Hi, we have a BT NTE5C MK4 faceplate master socket in our home but it is a huge socket 3inches coming out from the wall, makes it really hard for us to work around our furnitures.

Is it possible to replace it with a smaller model master socket? Which model is suitable?
Our service provider is EE, is this something we can ask EE to do for us? Or should we contact BT directly?

TIA!

I see, thanks.

So what’s the best option? Is it possible to use a smaller socket, and which is the best company to get in touch? I assume is EE?
