BT Whole Home Premium Disks: Preventing a hard reset?

The BT Whole Home Premium Disks allow for the setting up of restrictions for certain devices or groups of devices. This is useful for parents to set limits on their children's use of devices, particularly at night.

However, these restrictions are easily circumvented. Just stick a pin in the back of any of the disks to perform a factory reset and all the restrictions disappear, along with any custom admin-password that might have been set. A malefactor can then download the BT app, log into the Disks to restore any telltale signs that a reset might have been performed, such as dimming or turning off the LED indicators. It's literally child's play.

My question: is there any way to prevent a hard reset of one or more disks, short of filling the reset hole with glue?
