Temperature reads different on baby monitor vs app on phone

I bought the BT Smart Video Baby Monitor 5.0" Screen baby monitor.
it’s a particularly hot night and I’m concerned about the temperature in the room for my baby.
However the temperature on the monitor screen is reading completely different to the temperature on the BT app on my phone.
it’s the same device same camera. But two completely different temperature recordings.
has anyone else got the same problem?
It seems very strange but it’s important I know the correct temperature as I’m worried about my baby overheating.

Thank you for posting.

If I remember correctly when I was using the BT Smart Video Baby Monitor 5.0. The monitor screen would show the whole figures like 18°C. While the App would show fractions as well like 18.4°C.

What are the different readings between the monitor and the app?
