BT Whole Home Discs

Hi. We have the Whole Home discs set up in my house (not premium discs) and it works fine. We also have an office about 30m away that we would like to extend our broadband to. I was thinking of running some ethernet cable from our existing router (which has one of the discs attached to it) to the office, connecting a network switch to end and then plugging another Whole Home disc to the switch. This would then give me both wifi (from the disc) and several ports on the switch to connect other hardware. Now I know you can connect an additional (non premium) disc to the router but I need the extra Ethernet ports that the switch would offer. Can someone tell me if this would work? If not, any ideas on another solution?

many thanks in advance.

Can't see a problem with that, see Solved: Re: BT Whole Home with network switch - BT Community The original question may not be identical to yours but it's not a million miles away either
