My Home Hotspot was working happily for many many months, but then I had to disconnect the router. Ever since the BT powerline adaptors haven’t worked.

I have my router (Virgin Media) plugged into a BT Flex 1000 and the Home Hotspot plugged into a different 13amp socket.

I can see the Hotspot in my wireless options on my iPhone and I have inputted the password, but then nothing happens, it doesn’t connect. It looks as though it is trying to connect, but nothing.

Any suggestions why?

Thanks

Hi @bertilincoln I'm sorry to see you're having problems with your Home Hotspot plus 1000. Have you tried a factory reset to see if that helps?

Reset to factory settings
If your extender or hotspot stops working or becomes unpaired, you can reset both to
their factory settings:
1 Make sure the extender or the hotspot is plugged in and the power socket’s
switched on.
2 Press the Link button on the extender for more than 15 seconds or the Reset
pinhole on the hotspot for 1 second to restore factory default settings. Give it a
couple of minutes. If everything’s okay, the Power indicator on both will light up.

Thanks

Neil
