BT Premium phone trio handset

Recently purchased the trio handset, handset 1 on the base station works perfectly however handsets 2 & 3 have a problem, if I make an outgoing call I can hear them but they cannot hear me, if I receive a call they can hear me but I cannot hear them and the same happens if I use my mobile to call the handsets. I have registered the handsets and re-set the phones as advised by BT however the fault remains, in conversation with BT Help they quoted a fault code of 1600176 which means nothing to me. Has anybody had a similar problem or found a resolution to this, I have searched the manual but that did not provide an answer.

Weird! What happens if make internal calls between all three handsets?

Hi,

Thanks for the response however because the seller on Amazon failed to remediate that problem I arranged for Amazon to collect the products today and I re-installed our old BT slimline handsets, the base station still works OK but have not tried the second handset. I will seek to get alternatives.
