Is there a way of finding out which discs work with each other

there are so many

I have 3 older Bt disc

The black discs (complete Wi-Fi) work only with each other and the Smarthub 2.

The white discs work with any router and can be broken down into 3 products as per BT Whole Home Wi-Fi FAQs - Set-up and installation | BT Help
