Adding 3rd and 4th handsets to phone 8500 duo base

Hi,

The base station for my 8500 quad telephone set got destroyed by lightning. I have been offered a (private) replacement from a duo set. Will I be able to add the 3rd and 4th handsets?

Yes, the base station remains the same for all packages, just the number of additional handsets changes to a maximum of four. So five in total.

You may have to reset the new base unit to factory default.

Thank you for the confirmation. I was concerned as both base units specify how many handsets came with the sets when new and I didn't know if they wee somehow locked.
