      <title>BT8500 not taking messages since upgrade to FTTP</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since upgrading to FTTP our BT8500 no longer takes messages. It works as a phone and the messages are apparently recorded but the recording is not available on the answerphone. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My guess would be that BT Voicemail is answering before the 8500. Dial 1571 &amp;amp; see if the messages are there. You then need to decide whether you want the Voicemail or 8500 to take messages. I believe there are options in the 1571 menu to turn it off.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
