Premium 3phone Answer machine

Hi I have a set of premium by phones the answer machine won’t let me play my messages just the green play light flashes green and if pressed beeps I know when I ring the house phone it lets me leave a message but will not let me play them can someone help please? Many thanks Craig

Are you a BT broadband/landline customer or just have a BT phone?

Do you have a normal, continuous dial tone or is it pulsing? If the latter it sounds like you have the 1571 voicemail service active & that's answering calls & taking messages before the phone answering machine has kicked in.
