Hybrid Connect

Can anyone tell my do BT have a policy for the Hybrid Speed Boost stating a minimum 4g connection speed, I cannot find anything but being told it has to be 3bars.

when reading this forum lots of people seem to be using with only 2bars

any help greatly appreciated

As far as I can see Hybrid Speed Boost is a business product and has nothing to do with Halo 3+ Hybrid Connect for consumer users.

Two or three bars on consumer Hybrid Connect doesn’t make any difference in speeds, which is set at 30 mbps.

Yes I have a business account with BT, and they are telling that I must have a 3bar 4g signal. and according to BT i get no EE signal, but actually I get a 2 bar signal with an EE sim.

but they are refusing to provide the hybrid booster. I get 4mbs on copper as I live rurally, and this speed boost would help a lot.

I also wonder does it have to be EE can I use another network.
