Mini Connector Variable Speed

I've got my laptop connected via a mini connector and ethernet cable as I'm located relatively far away from the router.

In the last few days my speed has been dropping to the point where Teams meetings are pixelated and shared presentations don't appear on screen. This has only started happening, before then (years) I had no issues.

However, if I switch the mini connector off and on again (immediately, literally a flick of the switch) it improves dramatically.

Any idea why this might be happening? Thanks.

Hi @KShaz, welcome to the forum and thanks for your post.

It looks like the fault may lie with the mini connectors. Have a look at the below link of these are the BT ones and try a reset to see if that resolves the problem.

Yes, it's the BT Mini Connector v2.

I have a few of them so I'll swap one over and see what happens!
