Copying contacts

I am currently upgrading from a BT8500 to BT3110. Is there an easy way to copy contacts without re entering data manually? What if I put one new phone in old system and sync numbers , then put new updated phone in new system base and sync with the two other phones? Anyone tried it? Will it do any damage if I try? As I am old , not very techie but have lots of good ideas, simple answers please. Thanks, Rob

Pretty sure there's no way to do it as the contacts are stored in the base station & with option to export.

You could try the Help Desk but I wouldn't be hopeful.

I was hoping they would be stored on the handset . As the old one is playing up, I will persevere today and put all numbers in by hand.
