BT 4600

Hello I have two BT 4600 cordless phones. These we’re disconnected several years ago and put away. Since then the telephone number has also changed. Last week they were reconnected and the base unit phone works ok but the second phone won’t link to the base unit. I’ve tried everything in the instructions but to no avail. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Andy621 welcome to the community and thanks for posting, have you tried to reset the hanset and base station as shown on page 72 of the user manual?

Hi Neil

yes I have tried all the reset options. I’ve deregistered the handset and re registered it but it still won’t link to the base unit.

@Andy621 it unfortunaltey sounds like the hanset is faulty.
