Whole home app won’t allow more than 6 discs

Hi, I have got 7 whole home mini Wi-Fi disc, but when I go on the app to add the 7th disc, it says disc limit reach, but I thought you could get 8 disc in total. Can anyone help me please.

Why do you need so many discs? if you have too many in a small area, it can actually decrease performance.
