Adding third mini connector / powerline

Hi - I am having issues adding a third mini connector to my existing setup.

I have followed the instructions and the third connector flashes like expected but when i press add on the other connector nothing happens and no connection is made. The new connector just continues to flash.

Am i missing a step or doing something wrong? the adapter works fine when plugged directly in the hub but i needed it for my office upstairs.

Try adding the third unit whilst it is plugged in alongside one of the other two in a double socket. If it fails to work when you move it to where you want it to be, then you have a domestic wiring problem

That seems to have done the job, the lights are occasionally flashing on and off but still getting internet,
