If you still have no success then factory rest hub by pressing the recessed button on back and holding for 20\30 secs until hub lights flash. You then need to enter hub using the llogin info on abel on back of hub

Hi

My Homehub 6 generally works pretty reliably

Got a very frustrating issue now though having just done a restart of the hub (which I have done may many times before and not had an issue)

From a windows laptop connected to the hub via ethernet, I want to go into the admin console, so type in 192.168.1.254 into Chrome Browser and it just sits there going round and round.

Eventually times out.

Yet the whole network and internet sites are working perfectly. Its just the admin console not working.

As I say its from a wired device using chrome - can access other websites

Then tried iphone wirelessly using chrome - same issue, admin console times out but can browse the world

Tried wired and wireless connecting using Edge and Firefox in case its a chrome issue - same results

Circles just sit there going round and round and eventually crash out

Anybody got any suggestions - have restarted the hub several times not today to see if this issue stops but same keeps happening. Have powered up and down. Same

Is it possible the ip address of the hub is not the default one? If you type "ipconfig /all" into a command prompt window does it show 192.168.1.254 as the gateway?

If so. you my need to do full reset rather than just restart.

Hi

Thanks for the reply
I'd only have to do that as a last resort as I have loads of port forwarding set up, lots of IOT devices and even though in the past I backed up the ROM configuration and settings, when I restored them lots of the settings didnt get restored.

Thanks
