Whole Home disk only connects when close

I have BT Whole Home

One disc is giving issues, if I place it a metre or two from another disc it works fine.

But when I move it any further away .. it shows red

This started a few weeks ago, for previous few years it worked fine

If it worked fine a few weeks ago and now is not working, then it seems likely it's suffered some sort of internal failure. How old is it?
Probably best just to replace it. Single Wholehome discs are readily available, either new via Amazon, or used via eBay, and are not expensive.

I am currently selling 9 BT Wholehome AC2600 discs on eBay for cheap, ahem.
