Hi all my elderly mother has a bt4600 phone set up, after a power cut the main phone is flashing "C" on the screen and nothing in manual shows how to clear this. Phone works fine but looking at how to clear the screen. Any help appreciated

Turn the power off on the base unit for about two minutes, then turn it on again. That should re-initialise the link.

Short power interruptions can cause the system to lock up.

You may get a message asking whether you want to change the time, but just say no.
