Welcome to the community.

Have you tried restarting your router? I've noticed that this has helped other users with the same problem.

At first I thought this was a battery problem, but the batteries are fully charged. I can run a torch with them continuously for days, and I checked their voltage with a meter (1.3V when fully charged). I also checked the voltage of the base unit (just over 6V).

I've also done the Link to hub WPS button thing.

Anyone else seen this?

Also, why can't one submit such problems on line, because if the second handset also goes I'm screwed. Current waiting time is 20+ minutes for a phone call, and using another network costs one dearly!

The other handset worked fine, so I don't know how it could be a router problem.

One weird thing that does seem to have worked is running DOWN the batteries elsewhere and then putting them back in the phone to charge.
