You are probably one of the first.

As I understand it, there are too many Smart Hubs for BT to roll it out in one go, so it is staged according to line number. Based on past experience, I'll be a week or two down the road. (I'll start counting).

Checking...the previous update, as mentioned above, was the 13th of Jan.

Mine's just done a 14 day restart and, as I expected, it's still v0.44...as I said, it will be another week or two before it reaches me.

I have this and all my Amazon items stopped working. BT say not them, Amazon say buy all new....Echo show and Fire sticks! they were all fine before this update which came with new hub as my speed was meant to be 900...ish but was 33mbps. I have never even seen any of this....sat here for days trying to sort now have found hub settings online and this seems to be the only thing other than its set to WPA2 and Amazon fire stick says should be WPA2 CCMP or WPA2-PSK I cant find either of these settings?

what router were you using before you got the SH2 that all your amazon devices were connected to? did you connect the amazon devices to the the SH2 SSID and wifi password OR did you do the easier way and change the SH2 SSID and wifi password to that of your previous router?

Would it not have bee better to have put the SSID and WiFi password of your previous SH2, that all your devices were connecting to successfully, into the replacement one (latest one) to avoid any complications? That way avoids having to go through all your previously connected devices thst worked with the 'old' router.

I've never had updates of firmware cause any problem but others may say different. I think that the he SSID /Password in not recognised by all your previously connected stuff.

thank you, I cant remember but very possible my attempt at FR not long enough but then I did that with Amazon and they timed, my only clock in house was my Echo show. I have been over all this many times now with Amazon and probably the best was a young girl at BT who was brilliant sounded like the one who knew all this the best, she not only went over all the BT side but then the Amazon too, nothing is working though, she did disconnect the 5GHz but we didnt at that point turn everything off again. I will start over again tomorrow. Just one thing, I do still have an Echo Dot, this has not been changed as I cant remember how to do it, I am scared to try anything as its the only thing that talks in the house even if she only says she cant connect! I will just remove the power though and see if that helps.
