Apologies, I also now remember moving the hub/wiring post install so it would have been repowered then - must have been the 5th so has been repowered since update. Also, the auto update was the same day as installation 1st August.

Two early morning reboots - don't remember me doing this and I do remember broadband going down early morning for no reason - don't know if the hubs are restarted remotely for no apparent reason or just a drop in service?

BT Smart Hub2 2.4GHz Wifi suddenly stopped working.

Has anyone else had this problem?

A few of my devices were offline and during troubeshooting I noticed they were all 2.4GHz only devices. This was made more difficult to notice because I had left the Hub set up as delivered with the same SSID for 5GHz and 2.4GHz (on my old hub I used a different SSID)

Tried various things but in the end repowering the hub was the only thing to fix the issue - devices can now connect to 2.4GHz again.

It is set to Mode 1 but that is not an issue as all my 2.4Ghz devices connect OK in that mode.

This is a new hub after upgrade to FTTP 3 weeks ago (FTTX in the hub status screen?).

The last hub update was on 1st August and it has only just gone wrong so I can't really blame that.

I hope this is not going to be an ongoing issue where you can't rely on the hub. Most of these 2.4GHz devices are security - like Tapo, Ring etc.

It is possible the recent update did not complete as it should and the hub restart has fixed that and should be ok now. If happens again it may mean you need a factory reset using the recessed button on back and holding 20/30 secs until hub lights flash
