Hybrid Connect

I have a new BT Hybrid Connect. By the hub it gets no signal. I have tried it in various places around the house as per instructions on its set-up guidance leaflet. At best it only shows one blue bar showing therefore a poor signal, whereas my phone (using Vodafone) has a very strong signal. Any ideas for how this can be improved or am I stuck with a poor bit of equipment?

the BT hybrid connect relies on a good EE/BT mobile signal to connect to internet. did you not check you had a good signal before adding the hybrid connect to your package?
