Hardware update on SmartHub 2 ?

Has the SmartHub 2 at any point had a hardware update, if so when?

I ask as been having WiFi issues with SH2 and two discs, basically 2.4GHz IP Network cameras keep dropping connection for now reason. Radom cameras at random times over and over.

Been speaking to support, as recontacted to Complete WiFi to get the discs at their recommendation, but as not solved this issue was going to cancel and move over to EE who has slightly better hardware on the WiFi side.

But on my last chat to support to do this, they suggested they send a "updated" SH2 and see if that helps first. My hub at the moment has been fully reset and is also on latest firmware.

Hence what is this "updated" SH2.

There is no updated Smarthub2 but it may be that CS Rep was talking about the EE Smarthunb which is a newer version of the BT Smarthub 2 and is interchangable.
