BT4600 Answer machine problem

The answer message on my machine says the message box is full. However, the hand set shows that there are no messages. The instructions to delete old messages on page 61 of the instruction book are either incorrect or I have an option missing on the phone so I cannot choose delete old messages. However, whilst fiddling I did get the option to delete messages and I said yes to all so as far as I’m concerned there are no messages on the answer phone. I have unplugged the machine and waited half an hour. I’ve also removed the batteries from the handset and synced the two back together. However, the answerphone is still saying that the message box is full. Help please. Machine is less than a year old.

Hi @Cecily

Welcome to the community. 🙂

I'd recommend following those steps again, but also restarting your router. Let us know if that message then clears please.
