I have assumed you have an Android phone and not an iPhone: To grant permissions to the BTMail app :-

Step 1: Go to Settings on your Android device.

Step 2: Scroll down to find "Apps" and tap on it.

Step 3: Locate the BTMail app.

Step 4: Tap on the app and select "Permissions".

Step 5: Toggle on "Storage" permission.

If you select Music & audio and Photos & Videos when you select to add an attachment an new page will open and you will be able to select where the item you want to attach is located by either clicking on the icons at the top of the page or by selecting "My Files" and then going to the file where the item you want to attach is located.

Thanks again. I didn't quite get the new page you suggest but by 'allowing all' I have successfully mailed with attachment so problem solved. Very helpful

I have that problem recently too. (Out of the blue)

I did all the permission checking I possibly could... every option involving photos and email was allowed ... got no further forward.

There was not a 'storage toggle' on my Samsung Galaxy either.

I then tried allowing audio content, which I had not previously allowed. This got me access to a full storage options window and I could suddenly attach a photo to an email!

Might be helpful to others?
