Logging in to BT Webmail and App

I cant get on my emails on my android phone.

Perhaps to could explain and expand on the problem? You’ve not actually given any information at all. So, what have you tried? What if any App are you trying to use? Folks here can only help you if you explain in detail what the problem is.

Hi @Alison1004

You can access your BT email online at BT Email Web Login or you can use an email client like Samsung Mail, GoogleMail, etc.

If you want to use an email program on your Android device, have a look at our BT Email server settings page for the details you need and steps to follow to set this up.

If you already have BT Email set up on an email client on your phone but it has stopped retrieving email, first check that you're able to access your email through the webpage BT Email Online Web login.

Anyone else getting this message when trying to access BT Webmail ?

The Thunderbird email clients works ok.

Yes, i am constantly getting this message, alright first this this morning, logged off and went to recheck as am expecting a reply. after twenty minutes have given up

Yes, me, just this morning. Never seen this message before. No help or info on any BT sites, this is the only place that I've found anything about it.

Still getting emails okay on my phone through a 3rd party app though, just can't login online

I am getting that message, I have been trying to log into my emails for an hour now with no joy.

I can still access them on my phone but not the computer

I get the following message when trying to log in to my email.

Is BT Email down today?

Oh dear....

I'm having the same issue having just tried to log in online and get the following in a box outlined in red.

'Unable to Validate Information Provided'

However, I can access emails on my iPhone.

I think it's about time BT sort their issues out...instead of making annoying...sorry fancy TV adverts!

Yes, the same "Unable to Validate..." message when trying to login here, thankfully my linked Outlook account still has access to my emails.

There is obviously a problem with BTMail when using webmail (using a browser).

BTMail works OK when using an email client or an email app.

If you need to get into your BTMail account you could download and install the BTMail app or another email app such as Thunderbird.

These apps normally do not require the server settings to be manually added but if you do need them they are as per this link.

Meanwhile I would strongly suggest that you do not try and change your BTMail password or anything else.

BT will be aware of the problem and no doubt be working on a fix.

Yes, I am getting the same for over an hour, now. Can't log on to my webmail. Frustrating, and I'm waiting on an important communication!

The MyBT webpage has the following message:-

"We're launching something new

We’ve got some changes to make to our website, but we'll be back up and running again soon.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience".

What ever they are doing may or may not be what is causing the BTMail problem.
