Does external wall insulation impact on FTTP installation?

I'm considering upgrading to Full Fibre but I have external wall insulation. Does this have an impact on the FTTP installation?

A cable will need to enter your property from the outside. Whether it has to go through a wall depends on the specifics of your property. If there is an existing cable entering it might be possible to use the same aperture.

I don’t know specifically about external wall insulation but I don’t see why it would be an issue provided there was adequate sealant applied to the entry point to prevent water ingress.
