Does the Router need to be next to the ONT? or could i purchase a bigger cat6 or cat7 cable so i could put the router in a desired location? (roughly 10-20m of ethernet cable needed)

Thanks, first time ordering FTTP so not sure on a bunch of things.

Appreciate the help!

No providing you can supply a long enough CAT5e and above cable of the suitable length then you can locate it wherever you like. The ONT needs to be constantly mains powered if you were not aware.

Yeah i read that it needs to be constantly on, So i should just be able to connect a longer cat6 cable and relocate the router. That's amazing, thanks for answering 😄
