FTTP - What happens, my house is to far for overhead Fibre connection to the pole and copper ends?

I have been told my house is too far for Fibre connection to the Pole and need to know what to do when copper phone lines are made redundant?

My house is 80 metres form the nearest pole , so overheard cable is not feasable but I need to have full fibre AND VOIP.

the copper phone lines are not being made redundant just the ability to make phone calls over the copper line. you will still be able to get broadband connection and digital voice

How does your copper service arrive currently? Presumably underground which is how fibre will be provided.

There-in lies the problem. Apparently Fibre cannot be delivered the same way.

Not sure why you are concerning yourself with how Openreach deliver fibre to your house, it's not your problem to solve. They will deliver by whatever means is required, either an extra pole or underground.

The span distance for fibre has increased , and if the dropwire doesn’t cross a road and the normal height above footway/verge is met , then 80m is not over span .
As stated , it’s not your problem , if or when your address has FTTP available, then before the FTTP build is started, all addresses are surveyed, and issues should be picked up at survey, and as stated , if a carrier pole is needed , one would be installed

Talking to the supplier, Openreach or someone has deemed it not cost effective to instal.
