&lt;P&gt;I've used fast.com previously myself and got conflicting results. I would generally use&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/broadband/fix-a-problem/test-your-bt-broadband-speed/" target="_blank"&gt;Test your BT Broadband Speed | BT Help&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;on a wired connection for the best results.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Everyone here seems to recommend fast.com (as do the engineers that come out) but every time I do a test with them I get speeds of about 1.4 Gb which is impossible as:-&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) I only have a 900Mb service&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) The SH2 only has Gb ports&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) The PC only has a Gb NI&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Given the above can we believe the results from it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've always found fast.com very sketchy to say the least. I've just tested over 5G and it showed double the speed that Ookla Speed test showed&lt;/P&gt;</description>
