So fibre broadband has been great since installed 18 months ago. so today on my estate another fibre installer has been pulling in fibre cable in the BT ducting and guess what my fibre goes down, red light LOS coincidence or what. Good news Openreach are coming out tomorrow morning , see what happens.

If it were another network provider pulling their cables into Openreach ducts and that’s what caused the damage that resulted in your service going down , if they don’t know already , advise the OR tech , they should raise a report so that any costs incurred by OR for the repair are paid by this other network

Fibre replaced as contractors had bent the fibre and broken it, they knew that they had done it as they taped it up to straighten it.

Not a bad job by OR as only reported yesterday.
