New Fibre Install ?

Hello i just had a new fibre install yesterday fibre is running fine no issues if you take a look at the picture can you see the wire shouldn't that be covered by the grey box ??

The fact that the cable jacket is black means it’s an external grade cable and won’t suffer from degradation from the elements etc , if someone was ( for example) worried about a vandal cutting that tiny exposed bit of cable , a determined vandal could simply smash the CSP block off the wall anyway , so it’s really no less ‘safe’ than an installation where not even a tiny part of cable was exposed .

TBH , that is a very tidy install , any ‘complaints’ about it are not really justified.
