High upload ping and jitter 80 download 20 upload package

Hi guys I’ve just moved to new property few weeks ago and I’m getting stupidly high upload jitter and ping, to the point where I cannot play call of duty packet loss and packet burst, anybody know a fix to this before I cancel many thanks Jay

Both tests were wired and wireless , I’ve now cancelled abd going to try another provider

Hi @Witton90,

Thank you for posting. With the details you've provided it really difficult to diagnose what's causing the high jitter and ping.

There are a few things you could do to help improve things.

Whenever possible, connect your device directly to the router using an Ethernet cable. This eliminates potential interference and provides a more stable connection.

Have you tried setting up Portforwarding?

Reducing the number of devices using the connection at the same time as gaming should help reduce any latency.

Are you noticing any issues with the stability of your connection?

If you run a tracert, this will also help you show where the latency is occurring.
