I've started having issues with my hub losing connection. Open reach guy came round and said 100% it's because I'm using a flat modem cable. But this was the only cable I could find that fits the back of the hub. He told I needed an ethernet cable (which I tried before) but with an RJ45 connector. So I ordered that and it fits in my socket (where the broadband cable comes into the house) but in the back of the hub? Can anyone send me a link to the correct cable? I'm now back to using the old modem cable which works for now.

Unless your modem cable is faulty then it should work and the disconnection problem is elsewhere. If you don't have digital voice then check phone line by dialling 17070 option 2 should be silent
