BT Fibre / Xbox series X

hi, I recently upgraded to fibre 900 and was looking forward to faster download speeds on the Xbox series X

A wifi connection test to the router is showing a maximum of 85Mbs - way short of the 600Mbs on other devices

Is there I can do to resolve this?

Are you sure your Xbox is connecting to 5ghz network not 2.4ghz

Yes, showing as 5ghz in the Bt app

A notourious Xbox problem, try a google search for a resolution.

Have spent the evening looking, nothing obvious applies to my setup.

is it a Bt hub or Xbox issue?

Ethernet speed seems to be much much better than wifi speed for the Xbox: Ethernet vs WiFi Xbox Series X - Speed Test 2023 (turbospeedwifi.com)

But how close is your router to the Xbox? Those seem to be really low speeds for wifi 🤔 I have the complete wifi disc right near my Xbox and it shows nearly 200mbps. 350-400 if I use the ethernet cable connected to the disc instead! (On the 1 month fibre 500 speed boost)
