If you have no telephones in the house, and only broadband on sogea, I assume this is fine to use a BT Telephone Plug to RJ11 Cable to bypass the microfilters?

what is the purpose of the BT Telephone Plug to RJ11 Cable?

Is it to bypass a adsl filter and connect straight to the internet with no filter in the way? I guess this is fine if you have no telephones and are on Sogea?

Technically the filter is just for the old PSTN phone-side of things. The internet connection, (and Digital Voice), do not need it. The only reason for continuing to use the filter is if you don’t have a BT to RJ11 lead and so need the RJ11 socket it provides.

Yeah, if you’re on SOGEA you don’t need an ADSL Filter and or SSFP.
